Design Solution

This kitchen combines functionality with style and creates a contemporary edge that integrates perfectly with the clean, sharp and angular lines of this architecturally inspired home.

Walking into this kitchen, visitors will be instantly transfixed by the stylish curves of the centre island. The island forms a harmonious merge between the rooms while cleverly providing a visual screen from the entry of the home. Locating the sink in the island enables the owners to interact freely with guests in other rooms or to utilise the option for casual dining while being seated at the overhang of the curve bench.

A clean, uncluttered kitchen is created by the use of drawers, with appliances, cutlery and dinnerware all having its place. Every utensil is at your fingertips while cooking on the gas cook top with the use of orgaline storage inserts to the soft closing stainless steel tandem box drawers. The large amount of bench space on either side of the upright stove allows for plenty of room for cooking.

Aluminium framed sparkle glass doors have been used to reflect light and to tie in the crisp look of the stainless steel appliances. Two large glass doors conceal a pantry that has been purpose designed with pullout drawers to allow for easy access and viewing while creating ample food storage solutions.

The colour scheme of tried and tested whites and greys are brightened with the use of vibrant Shiraz to create a space that is alive, yet soothing and inviting. In keeping with the remainder of the home, this kitchen’s uncomplicated elegance enhances the openness of the living spaces and commands your attentions from every aspect.
